Ampersand Global is not a strategic communications firm.
We know how to put together press events in DC & Brussels, site visits in Kigali, top-tier journalist outreach, celebrity spots for YouTube, Facebook advocacy and blogger summits.
Our Clients
Our clients are more cause than corporate. Recent clients include: the European Commission; The Global
Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; One Laptop Per Child; the World Bank
(Malaria Booster Program, AIDS Program); the Fondation Youssou N’Dour; Sumitomo
Chemical; Bono’s NGO DATA (Debt AIDS Trade Africa); the GAVI Alliance; the ONE
campaign and the European Commission.
What We Do
Our successful efforts have included media and advocacy campaigns for international
organizations and NGOs across the G8 and southern nations, as well as supporting
governments and the European Commission. We have helped clients target EU and US
executive and parliamentary opinion through press conferences, deskside briefings
and paid advertising. Underpinning all of Ampersand Global’s communications
strategies is the firm’s intimate understanding of the intersection of media and policy
change at an international scale.
Why Ampersand?
With Ampersand Global, clients get unparalleled experience in international advocacy
communications and a global network of media relationships. And our models means
principals with broad experience actively manage the effort, provide client counsel, and
directly contact media. This combination of greater experience and lower overhead
has led some of the largest global organizations to turn to us instead of firms with a
larger footprint.
Who We Are
Our principals have a track record of advocacy, strategic messaging,
media event and longer-term campaign planning and execution, global elite media
outreach, NGO and stakeholder relations from a media and messaging perspective.
